504HealthNet is thrilled to announce its partnership with Quartet Health, a healthcare technology and services company on a mission to improve the lives of people with mental health conditions. 504HealthNet, in partnership with the City of New Orleans Health Department, held its first Community & Health Technology Pitch-A-Partnership event on September 30th. The event’s objective was to build a direct connection between new health technology ideas and services to local community health leaders and providers.
At the event, health technology startups pitched to 504HealthNet member organizations and stakeholders for an opportunity to partner with 504HealthNet’s consortium of community health centers and public agencies. Quartet Health won the competition and the coveted pineapple, a trophy representing 504HealthNet’s dedication to health and hospitality.
The two organizations will move forward to design an implementation plan for utilizing Quartet’s services to assist the local safety-net organizations in coordinating mental health care services and facilitating collaboration between medical and mental health providers.
504HN is a nonprofit collaboration established in 2008 to improve access to community-based primary care and behavioral healthcare services across the Greater New Orleans (GNO) Region for everyone, irrespective of their ability to pay. 504HN represents most of the outpatient safety-net healthcare system in the region, which provides care to low income and uninsured residents. The coalition consists of 27 independent member organizations who operate more than 70 community health center sites and served over 190,000 patients in 2018.
